One Of The Very Few Voyage Stinkers
15 November 2016 | by StuOzSee all my reviews

Nelson is not himself thanks to family issues.

Good lord, imagine ending the season with this sleepy hour that reads like an episode of the 1960s UK series The Avengers (thanks to George Sanders's accent)...not Voyage.

This was not the last episode is production order (seven episodes came after it) so I can only guess Irwin or ABC demanded this be stuck at the end because they were too afraid to screen it.

Yes, I am aware The Traitor has some nice twists and turns in the plot, but Voyage needs some submarine action as well. This hour is often set on Seaview but the submarine is just used as a place for people to have tedious conversations on.

George Sanders fans might get a buzz out of this, everyone else will be saying: "thank god the colour seasons begin next week".
