Trivia

Although they made three animatronic pieces for the Indoraptor, only one shot made it into the movie. That's because the design of the creature continued to evolve into post-production, when the CGI work became more finessed. "Doing animation tests, we very quickly realized that the arms were too long and the torso too short, because as soon as he started walking on all fours, his elbows collided with his knees." Industrial Light & Magic tweaked both, so it could tear up the ground while galloping or slink across the floor like a cat. See more »

Goofs

The travel time in the movie is not factual. While its actual location is not revealed, Lockwood's estate is obviously not in Central America, where Costa Rica is. A ship carrying the collection crew and equipment would not be traveling more than 35 knots. At that speed it would take a minimum of 3 to 5 days to get to the coast off of California let alone somewhere else with that lush foliage. Plus, if Lockwood's estate is on the east coast, a trip through the Panama Canal can take up to 18 hours and then the ship would need to cross the Gulf of Mexico. See more »

Alternate Versions

The Italian version has three scenes trimmed for violence before submitting the film to the local censorship commissions. These are: 1) T-Rex inside a cage swallowing a goat 2) Indoraptor swallowing the bitten-off hand of Ken Wheatley) Ted Levine and then roaring his hat off. 3) T-Rex and Carnosaur ripping in two the body of Eli Mills (Rafe Spall) See more »

IMDB seriously needs to start screening for fake accounts and fake reviews/scores
14 June 2018 | by sumtim3s00nSee all my reviews

There is no way so many people would be AMAZED at this POS movie and even compare it to Spielberg's original JP masterpiece or call it one on its own right. This movie isnt even worth to be an episode in an average cable tv show. Its the blandest, most predictable and lazy part of the series so far. There is not even the slightest hint of originality or anything fresh in the whole film. Nor is there any tempo to the story. And barring quite good Goldblums speech, the whole 100% of dialogues are forgettable as are all of the action scenes that you feel like youve seen already 100 times in (or any generic) previous films. It is a horrible, horrible product with no personal touch or vision from the director or any refreshing qualities that might bring the light back to this now utterly pathetic sad pathetic Jurrasic Park franchise. Not worth seeing. And IMDB please start screening the fake accounts, you can tell them from a mile away.
