This twelve minute interview with director Elia Kazan was originally recorded in 2001 and features the Oscar-winner discussing his most famous picture. Kazan talks about how ON THE WATERFRONT got produced and from here discusses every aspect of the production from the casting to its release. If you're a fan of the film then you're really going to enjoy the interview as the director talks freely about things that happened including his bad relationship with the producer. He also talks about the most famous scene in the back of the taxi cab and gives all the credit to his actors. Even though the running time is short, Kazan talks throughout the picture and gives you a great idea of what it was like to be there and he's certainly honest with his opinions.
